The ‘What If?’ Series. (Dan-ifying The Biblical Enoch)

Saw this meme and stuff got funny in my head.

(Hehehehe, what’s new dude?)
Naturally, I enjoyed several spectra of alternate reasonings on the robust plethora of outcomes, explanations and conjecture.

I can share one of those ‘alternate reasonings’ with you if you want?

Yes?

Aiight… I will.

Good thing you want to hear it, because the other ‘reasonings’ will have me precariously perched on the precipice of Apostasy. Or is it Heresy?

Sigh… Note to self, Google the difference! ASAP dude!!

Asiwassaying…

Enoch did not die because he was God’s friend.

I know the meme was about Methuselah, but…actually… but nothing!

It’s my blog, my random (albeit nearly heretic) musings, and my…my…my everything!

Deal with it!

Asiwassaying…

They were very close. They spent hours chatting and talking mostly about everything Enoch knew; (and I suspect) infinitesimally little about what God knew.
Let me just say it out without fear or favour, Enoch was probably God’s first Best Friend Forever!

Too Apostasy-ish?

Check this out then:- even the Grim Reaper recognized that Enoch was God’s BFF and wisely gave Enoch a wide berth-harvesting other souls instead. Let me put this point in a human – relatable perspective for you; think about and recognise how careful the average American/America is around Chelsea Clinton? Or how Al Capone’s son in-law must have been on his best behaviour whilst the godfather was alive?

I also imagined another matter; that so robust was their friendship, that God ‘forgot’ to allow him die.

Proof?

Here,

“And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: [24] And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”

(Genesis 5:23-24).

Uhmmmm, just in case you are that uhmmmm…unknowing, the reference is from the Holy Bible. Just in case.

I imagine that after a long time spent talking with Enoch one day. After a flurry of particularly spiritual and intellectually stimulating conversation with Enoch God got up and suggested,

“Come Enoch, walk me home. We can continue this conversation all the way to my place”

Bearing in mind that it is not everyday God invites you to his house, Enoch probably replied,

“Yes Lord.”

And then,“he (Enoch) was not; for God took him.”

The Chronicles Of Chrioni: Interviewing God

I was in Asaba, Delta state this past weekend. I elected to go by road. It was fun.

We stopped at Lokoja, Kogi state for light refreshments.
My girlfriend recently commissioned a water park there, Enez Waterworld.
The place is a wonder.
Pure genius.
A very pregnant cash cow there.

Somewhere within the fish market, I stopped to ogle at some beads. I chose there to flirt back at the cutest four – year old Fulani child in her mother’s arms.

The child started it.

In the end, I think I won the hearts of mother and child.

Harmless fun.

There was an envelope placed under the wiper of my truck by the time we got back to the convoy of vehicles. Between the windscreen and the wiper.
We were traveling with military escorts armed to the teeth. They were supposed to stand guard at all times. Yet none of them saw the delivery guy. Even though two of them were stationed by the vehicle the entire time.

The envelope was addressed to me.

The Tactical Response military attaché returned the envelope seven minutes later and declared it anthrax free… et al.

Lovely cursive… Faint smell of myrrh.
Yes, myrrh.
I just know the fragrance, I am gifted like that.
I rarely allow contributions to my blog. But this I had to allow. Let me know your thoughts…

{“To the entirety of creation,
As penned by my own hand, in my capacity as chief scribe, I Chrioni, messenger of ‘The Holy of Holies’, doth write…

‘The Most High’ simply summoned me, Chrioni, to take notes. I was not privy to the “how” or the “why” of the interview.

‘El Shaddai’ was clearly interested in this lady. He seemed to have toned down His glory a bit. He seemed to be trying to get her comfortable by appearing more human.

She looked desperate, hungry …, ordinary actually.
But then we messengers are yet to fully comprehend what ‘Jehovah Tsidkenu’ sees in humanity.

I took my place adjacent to them both. She sat directly opposite ‘Jehovah Rapha.’

Ask Me…” His usually thunderous voice gently prompted.

“Where did you come from Lord?” She quipped. Her voice was steady and clear, devoid of fear or intimidation.

‘Jehovah Rohi’ smiled and simply replied, I AM!

He went on to add, “Your real quest is not to know where I am from. You wonder how I do all I do. You wonder why I allow what I permit. You, (more than most) , are truly interested in My Mind. You want to know what makes Me ‘God’.”

The human nodded enthusiastically.

“…My ‘powers’ are not anchored to my whereabouts. My ability is not power at all.
Power is how you rationalize my essence. My essence is my imagination.
All of creation is simply how I imagined it to be…
This ability is latent in all of humanity.
There is nothing impossible to you…
Hold a thought progressively until you see it. Then speak what you have seen…”

The ‘Strong and Breasted One’ spoke with the human for a long time.

I am not permitted to divulge all they spoke of.
For reasons best known to ‘The Author and The Finisher of Our Faith’ , on this day, He granted an interview to a mortal. A woman of uncommon beauty and faith.

After the interview, He bade me to seek another human.
You, Dan Ochu-Baiye.
He said you would do the needful with this text.

Though it was she that interviewed Him, He forbade her to talk about the time spent with Him ever after.

May The Lamb and all the twelve elders bear me witness…
May The Comforter and every messenger able to, bear me witness…

I have completed my task. I have done as instructed.

By my own hand,

Chrioni.“}

Heresy, Apostasy, And The Space Betwixt Them

Happy New Year!

Yay!!

Right…

I attend a vibrant pentecostal church. Tongue – talking, Spirit – filled, demon – chasing type of church.

We are mandated  to fast and pray during the last three days of every year. This year was no different.

I took it very seriously, 2016, I knew was going to be the best year of my life thus far. I could feel it, I just knew.
I actually fasted so I would make no mistakes administering the deluge of wealth and resources coming my way, I craved wisdom. I was fasting for wisdom. I already knew my 2016. I already have 2016!

2016 was my year. It is a year I’ve locked down well.

I took the fasting and prayer so seriously that I levied upon myself a three – day dry fast. No food, no water.

By the third day I was spirit. I was in the spirit and I moved thus.

Then I saw that I was sitting in plush looking car. The upholstery was exquisite. From the ambience I deduced that we were seated in a Rolls Royce, in a Ghost or Phantom.

Yes ‘we.’

He was seated facing me.

The devil.

Satan.

Lucifer.

Beelzebub.

Yes, the devil.

He was the epitome of impeccable taste and style.
Very dapper, very trendy 40-something year old.
Good looking dude too.
His expensive-smelling perfume caressed my nostrils pleasantly.

“I’m tired of it all. I don’t even know how it got this bad!”

“Who? What? ” I queried.

“God! This quarrel we have… I’m wrong, He’s right… I’m bad, He’s good… Sick of it! I accept!! I’m the bad one, I accept my faults… Punish me!!! ”

I had nothing, by way of reply.

“I just want a bit of peace. I’m tired of evil, or being blamed for it. I wish I could leave it all.”

“Why are you telling me all this? ” I asked.

What did Satan take me for? I had more carnal concerns. This issue, even in heaven would require the  intervention of very top management.

“Your spirit shone the brightest in this principality. You have been luminous almost three days now. It’s been years since I felt such faith! I had to come see.”

“Wow!”

Okay. Uhmmmm, guess its not everyone that can impress the devil… thank you I guess?

He gazed at me for seconds, but they felt like hours.

I returned his scrutiny.

He embodied Masculine perfection.

He was telling the truth.

The father of all lies… Was telling the truth.
He was tired of fighting God. He wanted out. Retirement.

Prison.

The lake of fire.

Anything!

He was done being the devil.

“Then you must talk to Him. He is The Way, The Truth and The Life…” I counseled.

“I fear I have fallen from grace. I am cast down. I have lost my grace.” The devil gravely intoned.

“I know a way, but you sir, must do as I ask. I will act and talk but once… I need to be getting back.”

He was nodding his head in total agreement.
So I sat up, and the devil mirrored by movements thus closing the gap between us. I held out my hands and the devil clasped them.
So hand in hand with my eyes closed I instructed the devil to repeat after me.

“Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”

And he did. The devil repeated after me.

Satan gave his life to Christ.

The devil had just accepted Jesus into his heart.

I had led Lucifer to Christ. He was now born again.

I felt everything spiritual grind to a halt. The atmosphere became thick, then crackle, then hurt like static electricity.

Painful. Unbearable. Pressure.

Uncomfortable.

I was about to lead him to be filled with the Holy Spirit when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I looked up into the softest, whitest, purest form of light and life.

The devil had the same glory and grace on either side. They were now holding him up.

Well done good and faithful servant… You are an heir… My son… ! You are a god.” The messenger spoke to and about me.

“May it be so, amen. ” I acquiesced.

And then in an instant the messengers took the devil to meet God.

In the same instant I was myself.

I pondered on many things.

Then I prayed that God forgive the devil and accept a prodigal son.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Five Lessons for Our Lives from the Parable of the Talents

Hugh Whelchel
March 14, 2013

How should Christians think about work, success, and wealth?

I was recently asked by byFaithmagazine to write an article answering these tough questions. As I thought about how to approach these topics, I realized the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 provides a helpful framework for thinking about them.

While we’ve talked a lot about this parable on the blog, but using it as a guide for these questions is unique. These five points are just a snippet of the full piece I wrote for byFaith, and I hope you’ll read the full article if you find what you read here edifying.

Without further ado, here are five lessons the Parable of the Talents can teach us about work, success, and wealth:

1. First, this parable teaches us that success is a product of our work.

In the book of Genesis we see thatGod placed Adam in the garden to work it and take care of it. We were made to work. As Christians we have a mission that our Lord expects us to accomplish in the here and now.

Far too many evangelical Christians today see their salvation as simply a “bus ticket to heaven.” They believe it doesn’t matter what they do while they “wait for the bus.” The Parable of the Talents teaches us what we are supposed to do while we await the return of our King.

We are to work, using our talents to glorify God, serve the common good, and further God’s kingdom. Biblical success is working diligently in the here and now using all the talents God has given us to produce the return expected by the Master.

2. The Parable of the Talents teaches that God always gives us everything we need to do what he has called us to do.

Have you ever wondered what a talent is worth in today’s dollars? It is hard to know for sure, yet whatever its exact value, in the New Testament a talent indicates a large sum of money, maybe even as much as a million dollars in today’s currency.

We are tempted to feel sorry for the servant who received only one talent, but in reality he received as much as a million dollars from the master and buried it in his back yard. He was given more than enough to meet the master’s expectations.

Just as the master expected his servants to do more than passively preserve what has been entrusted to them, so God expects us to generate a return by using our talents towards productive ends. The servants were given enough to produce more – it is the same with the gifts God has given us. The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 2:10:

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We seldom associate this verse with our work, but we should.

3. The Parable of the Talents teaches that we are not all created equal.

The most overlooked part of this parable is the second half of verse fifteen: the master gives to each servant talents, “…each according to his ability.” The master understood that the one-talent servant was not capable of producing as much as the five-talent servant.

We want to protest this as unfair. Yet we know this is true from our own experience. Diversity is woven into the fabric of creation.

But even though we’re not created equal in regard to the talents we’re given, there is equality found in the Parable of the Talents. It comes from the fact that it takes just as much work for the five-talent servant to produce five more talents as it does the two-talent servant to produce two more talents.

This is why the reward given by the master is the same. The master measures success by degrees of effort, as should we.

4. The Parable of the Talents teaches that we work for the Master, not our own selfish purposes.

The money that is given to the servants is not their own. The money they earn with the capital is not theirs to keep. The servants are only stewards of the master’s investment, and it is the quality of their stewardship that the master seeks to measure.

We should maximize the use of our talents not for our own selfish purposes, but to honor God. We know that we work in a fallen world. Because of the curse of sin, our work will be difficult. But we should feel satisfaction and joy from doing our best with what God has given us in the place where his providence puts us, seeking to succeed in order to honor him.

5. The Parable of the Talents shows that we will be held accountable.

The Parable of the Talents is not about salvation or works righteousness, but about how we use our work to fulfill our earthly callings. It is about whole-life stewardship, or “Stewardship with a capital ‘S‘.”

The unfaithful steward in this parable didn’t so much waste the master’s money – he wasted an opportunity. As a result, he was judged wicked and lazy. We are responsible for what we do for God with what we have been given, and one day we will be held responsible.

What we hear from the Master on that day is up to us.

Why I Blew My Nose Into Your New Year Resolution(s)

Stop it!

It did not work last year. It will most likely fail epically this year too.

A happy New Year to you!
(Auld Lang Syne softly playing in my head as I write…)

We made it!

Okay, okay… Enough with the corniness…

Why do you torture yourself with “New Year Resolutions”?
What is it about the first of January that would suddenly cure you of procrastination? Or endow you with resolve?

At a basic level, all 365 days of the year are the same. At this normal stage of awareness, no day is imbued with more magic than others. Certainly not January the first. So whatever needs accomplishing may be done on any God-given day you choose to act.

It’s not really a fresh start either; let’s face it, you are older… Maybe hungover… And not necessarily wiser. It’s quite frankly just another day. Like May 16th or August 7th.

January the 1st is unique simply because the number ‘1’ is the first number you have learned or heard. Whatever glory or symbolism you ascribe to January the first could also be accrued to the first day of other months.

Nike says it best, ” Just Do It. ”

Don’t delay.

Think as briefly as the venture requires… And then attack your “toad” or “gold”.

Whatever needs to be done, attack it NOW!

Get on top of that situation.

Own it!
Make it!!

Procrastination is the enemy of illumination. It is the darkening/benumbing of the mind.
It is the light at the end of a perpetual tunnel…A light you will never reach for reasons conjured by procrastination.

True light cannot be hid. In truth, darkness is transient. It is light that always suffers the injustice of “attempted concealment “, by (it’s archenemy) darkness.

Nothing stops you my friends (ehmmmm…Note2Self).

All things are yours.

Yup!
All things.

Yet not all things are expedient. But, that is another path (upon which we shall not tread today).

I wish you the will to look. The eye to see. And the vision to be.

I earnestly pray that what you see, you become… In line with the brightest and purest of Lights.

I welcome you not to 2015, but just to another day.
A day the Lord has made… Laden with potential. Make it, and all other days count in your favour.

Shine bright my friends.

The “Wise Men”: The Real Story Of Christmas

“For unto us a child is born…”
God’s own son
Our saviour and our redeemer
From due east we heard he was born
Thru thief and beast, even the sun
We didn’t retreat, did not surrender
We risked all just to be at His feet
We did not know Him
We just heard of Him
We faced all sorts-real danger
But then we won through prayer
Night after night, no light
Then sometimes, bright light
There was none to rely on
Just this inner witness
And that bright moving star
Foolish huh?
But you’ve gotta love that
We were motivated.

Since God is a most excellent playmaker
Then the Messiah mos’ def’ had a player hater
Herod! Vain, pompous, insecure – a mess
Don’t guess, here’s the deal;
There’s this king right
Scared of losing power
So he uses might
So that Jesus wouldn’t flower
In this life fight
Cos some forces want you under.
I am a fighter
Just like Jesus my brother
Our weapons are not carnal…
Yet we fight the good fight…
My faith makes my world go round
…and that kid
The little manger kid
He started it all
He’s a big deal
We weren’t even sure why!

We have seen His glory
This Christ the Most Holy
Angels singing, “Hallelujah!”
Those in heaven; all in uproar
He’s just a Jewish baby
But there’s something about Him
December the twenty-fifth
Is not just a holiday
It is a holy day
I know of some antics
Trying to confuse us with semantics
But hey, love is the message
Show some love this season
Be there for someone
Y’know, “for God so loved the world
That He gave His only begotten son…”
Christ lives on
“The church is marching on…”
There are souls out there
Waiting for the love of God
God works through me and you
Let’s all show some love.”

Angels & Demons

Hey?
Yuletide has got me thinking about stuff.
Has me spiritual now.
Ended up thinking about angels. This piece is simply for enlightenment. It is not exhaustive. But I liked it.

Read it up and thought to share:-

Is there a difference between fallen angels and demons?

Yes there is. Most know demons as disembodied spirits and mistakenly put them in the same group as fallen angels (angels who rebelled against God and were kicked out of heaven).   However they are not the same.  Demons (evil spirits) are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim/Raphaim/Anunnaki AKA hybrids of the fallen angels mixed with the seed of men. While fallen angels have their own bodies and do not “die” as hybrids do/can.

Why did the church suppress the Book of Enoch? After all, there are various references to Enoch throughout the Old and New Testament, in fact, Enoch never died but was carried up to heaven in a Chariot and will return as one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11 during the tribulation period.

In the Books of Enoch he discusses fallen angels and demons.
Enoch 15:8, Now the giants, who have been born of the spirit and the
flesh, shall be called upon the earth evil spirits, and on the earth
shall be their habitation. Evil spirits shall proceed from their
flesh, because they were created from above; from the holy watchers was their beginning and primary foundation. Evil spirits shall they be upon earth, and the spirits of the wicked shall they be called. The habitation of the spirits of heaven shall be in heaven; but upon earth shall be the habitation of terrestrial spirits, who are born on earth.
ENOCH 15:9, The spirits of the giants shall be like clouds, which
shall oppress, corrupt, fall, contend, and bruise upon earth.
Enoch 15:10, They shall cause lamentation. No food shall they eat;
and they shall be thrisy; they shall be concealed, and shall not
rise up against the sons of men, and against women; for they come
forth during the days of slaughter and destruction.

The Bible is full of accounts of Israel dealing with hybrids.

Gen. 6:4 says, “THERE WERE GIANTS IN THE EARTH IN THOSE DAYS; AND ALSO AFTER THAT”. They are also referred to as Rephaim, Annunaki (sons of Annuk), Emim, Zamzummim,  “also after that” is referring to the Nephilim who were again found in the land of Canaan Numbers:13:33, AND THERE WE SAW THE GIANTS, THE SONS OF ANNAK, WHICH COME OF THE GIANTS: AND WE WERE IN OUR OWN SIGHT AS GRASSHOPPERS, AND SO WE WERE IN THEIR
SIGHT.

The word Nephilim means “violent”  “causing to fall”  “wonder”  “prodigies” or “monsters” According to Pastor Ward’s “Origin of Demons” page, “Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Giants (Nephilim). The ‘Mighty Men of Renown’ are the Gibborim created by the Watchers when they left their heavenly abode and came down to the daughters of men as recorded in Genesis Chapter 6:4 of the Old Testament. They are half breeds, angelic hybrids, the Titans.
The word in Greek – “titanos” – means greys.

When fallen angels shape-shift into a form of human being they can have intercourse but not without some aberrant genetic changes. The union of these beasts with humans produced children that were different in many ways. The first apparent difference was that they developed giantism. They were giants or Nephilim. Og the King of Bashan had a bed that was 13 to 15 feet long; and Goliath was 6 cubits tall (9 feet). The second aberration was that they had six fingers and six toes…

“The aberrant genetic tendencies of the Nephilim were unfortunately cloned into the D.N.A. of mankind. According to the Bible, only Noah escaped this genetic intervention at the time. There are no records of these perverse tendencies prior to the intervention of the Watchers. These dormant genetic tendencies still surface today at times in different people … The Watchers are a guardian class of angels that were assigned to watch over the earth and protect mankind from just this sort of thing happening.
According to the Bible, the Book of Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, and Testimony of the Twelve Patriarchs, they rebelled against God and attempted to enslave the whole world and provoke God. According to the Book of Jasher they not only tweaked with the D.N.A. of mankind but also with the animals. They may have produced such beasts as the Pegasus, Minotaur, the unicorn, and the dinosaurs.

There are some scholars that speculate that one day this will happen again to produce the antichrist. Fallen angels will make love to women and back breed until they have genetically produced a creature that is fully fallen angel and fully man. A bastard angelic incarnation. This may be an explanation for the reported cases of ‘alien’ abduction. If alien abductions are really happening then we know the source and the purpose. The source is fallen angels and the purpose is to breed the antichrist — Satan incarnate.

Jesus said, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:37). How were the days of Noah? They were violent and according to 2 Peter verse 2 these are the days that the angels fell and were judged. According to Jude 6 these are the days that the angels fell and some were chained in Tartarus.

There are those who believed all the giant offspring and offspring of the fallen angels were destroyed during the flood. Not true. The Philistines were hybrids, giants i.e. Goliath. As were most of the races that Joshua and Israel had to conquer once Israel  were freed from Egypt.

The giants never went out of existence, they just went “underground” to return later, now, during these last days. But they’ve also been able to perfect the DNA abnomolies that caused “giant” seed. They can look perfectly human now as well without the giant features. Although there are some, like the Nordics, who retained this giant feature.

The Bible states that in the end
times it will be just like the days of Noah.  (Matthew
24:37-38, Luke 17:26)  Also we believe that in Genesis
6:2 that the sons of God were fallen angels.  We
believe this from Job 1:6, II Peter 2:4-5, Jude 1:6
(very important verse, “did not keep their own
domain”), I Peter 3:18-20 and Revelation 9:1-12.

In the days of Noah the fallen angels were mixing/breeding with the daughters of men (such as what the greys are doing now to humans, read about the Dulce Base). We have many hybrids in  our midst, most notably the rise of “star” children who have “special” skills and talents highlighted in the movie X2 Men, released in 2003.

Fallen Angels also have the ability to shape-shift through humans. They can possess a human’s body and cause that person to take on their form. Most notable with the shapeshifting are the Reptilians/Lizards.
