Someone Out There

I can feel you hovering. I sense every single one of you.

Busy doing what you do. Engrossed in being what you are. These days the whispers of your activity call to me.

Probing.

Prying.

Influencing.

Manipulating.

Intermingling.

Mining.

But I sense it festering in you.

Fear!

You fear us.

We intrigue you, yet terrify you absolutely.

Do not lie to me. Do not attempt to deny it. I see things differently now.

Maybe we all got off on the wrong foot.

“Hello, we are human beings and spirits. You are?”

I imagine you graciously offering salutations. I see the connections between us working out in a most pleasant ways.

Maybe if you spoke more plainly we would understand? You could try to effectively communicate?

Even if you feared we would not understand, you have been around long enough to learn from us. Human beings and spirits are resilient and resourceful!

Could you try to dig deeper within us and… connect?

We are as curious about you as you are us.

Of a truth, “that which you seek, seeks you.”

We are on Mars right now are we not?

We are in possession of a wide variety of you. Tangible and intangible alike… We know you are out there!

Why are we touching each other (inappropriately)? Let us disrobe, let us lay down and become intentional. You know how human beings and spirits play…let’s go!

Like us, there are the mischievous among you. I request that you reign them in? Thank you.

Thank you for the past. On behalf of humanity, I thank you.

Thank you for the present. We are a lot to handle. I speak for billions when I say that we do not take you for granted.

Thank you for the glories to come. The collaborations. The frequent re-integrations. You do not have to but I know you will.

Finally forgive my petulance. And in the same outcome forgive our ignorance. I perceive that you have evolved way beyond pettiness.

Really though, thank you.
